1. How do I Sign-Up for an Account?

1.) First – Create Your Account
............ A. Go to: www.publicpurchase.com
............ B. Click to sign up for “Free Registration”
............ C. On the next page, again click to sign up for “Free Registration”
............ D. Fill out the remaining information to create your account.
............ E. It can take up to 24 hours for your account to become active.
............ F. You will receive an email from notices@publicpurchase.com indicating that your account has been activated.
............ G. Be sure to add this email address to your contacts to avoid the bid notification emails being sent to your junk folder.
............ H. After you receive your account activation email, Log-In at www.publicpurchase.com, and accept the terms and conditions of use.
............ I. It is your responsibility to keep your company information up to date.

2.) Next – Register with “Prescott Valley”
............ A. Log-In to your account at www.publicpurchase.com
............ B. Click on the “Tools” tab – then click on the “Agencies” tab.
............ C. This will take you to the Agency search page.
............ D. In the agency name box, type in “Prescott Valley”. Leave the “new agency since” box blank. Make sure the Registration Status says “ALL”. Then, click on “search”.
............ E. At the bottom, this will bring up the agency, “Prescott Valley”. To the far right of it, you will see “view” and “Register”. Click on the “Register” link to complete the vendor registration.
............ F. You will now receive notifications of upcoming Bids & RFQs from the Town of Prescott Valley.

3.) Then – View Bids & RFQs
............ A. You can browse the list of active Bids & RFQs on the Town of Prescott Valley Website.
............ B. If you registered with Prescott Valley, you will receive a notification email for each Bid & RFQ issued. Just click the link, sign in, click – and it will take you directly to the documents.
............ C. When you download the documents, be sure to also click on “Add Me to Plan Holder’s List” (in the top right corner).

2. What codes do I use?

Prescott Valley will select multiple codes for each solicitation, to best describe the scope of the solicitation, and often uses these NIGP codes:
