The Town of Prescott Valley depends on its residents who advise Town Council and play a role in town actions as appointed volunteer members of citizen boards and commissions.
Town of Prescott Valley residents are invited to volunteer to serve on boards and commissions. Applicants will be interviewed and appointed by Town Council. To apply, you must be a resident of Prescott Valley. Terms vary in length from 2 to 3 years. Meeting times and location vary depending on the commission. Board & Commission Selection Committee
The purpose of the Board and Committee Selection Commission is to interview applicants and make recommendations to the Prescott Valley Town Council of qualified candidates for appointment to the various Prescott Valley boards and commissions.

Board of Adjustment
The purpose of the Board of Adjustment is to interpret and enforce town code regarding zoning and code regulations.

Building Board of Appeals
The purpose of the Board of Appeals is to hear and decide appeals regarding building codes.

Library Board of Trustees
The purpose of the Library Trustees is to promote and provide library service of the highest quality to the citizens of the Town of Prescott Valley and surrounding areas, and to encourage the lifelong use of library services.

Municipal Property Corp.
The purpose of the Municipal Property Corp. is to facilitate financing of selected capital projects for Prescott Valley.

Parks, Arts & Recreation Commission
The purpose of the Parks and Recreation Commission is to recommend regulations and policy for the administration, control and improvement of the public parks of the Town of Prescott Valley.

Planning & Zoning Commission
The Planning and Zoning Commission's purpose is to formulate, create, and administer any lawful plan duly adopted for the present and future growth of the Town pertaining to the use of land and buildings for any purpose.

Public Safety Personnel Retirement System Board
The administration of the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System and responsibility for making the provisions of the system effective for each employer are vested in a local board.
